This was a great craft, that required very little, but it was something that my son could make for his relatives, so I wanted to share. They will need some help in cutting and measuring, but otherwise, they should be all good.
All You Need:
A small photo (I used some scrapbook paper, I had lying around the house, which is great, because you can change it out for the season, i.e., Easter time, you could do an Easter Picture, Birthday you could do some balloon picture) or you could use a school picture. Ideally, the picture would be about 2×2 inches.
Cardstock, to make the picture more sturdy, so it gives you the option of hanging it.
Small wooden sticks ( I have a link at the end of the post, of the ones I used)
Find an Image you want to use, I used the snowman craft sheet
Glue the photo to the cardboard
Let it dry overnight
Lay a pattern for the matchsticks out, then add a small amount of glue onto the matchsticks
Layer it, doing one vertical stack, then a horizontal stack, then repeat.
Allow all fo the glue to dry
Optional: Add a piece of string, so that it would be able to be hung.
