The very thought of homeschooling through college or another path sends shudders through my body.
My biggest concern is that I will screw something up, causing a lifelong painful existence to my son.
Does anyone else have this thought?
I have been stocking my bookshelves and my brain with some of the best books on the market, and I wanted to share, I think that they might help you.
My favorite thing about it is it presents a plan, what each year of high school could consist of, to get the credits needed, to complete high school.
This is a great guide to writing and assembling the transcript, that you will be presenting. It’s really a must buy.
Once you get into a college, it’s a great guide to finding scholarships (most you didn’t even know existed)
After reading this book and Setting the Record Straight, I felt I could make a great transcript for my son.
And if you are just starting your journey, it helps you identify what items to keep.
The best part of the books is the amount of information and links they provide.
This is a great approach to homeschooling, like everything homeschooling it’s all individual.
Ms. Bell covers the approach and why you should or shouldn’t homeschool high school.
This is my favorite book, it broke down what my son thinks he wants to go to school for and laid out his path for the next four years. Including things, I had absolutely no idea, where available.
